youtube yoga

I love doing yoga for how it makes me feel but there is no comparison between going to a studio to do yoga and trying to do it at home. Youtube yoga served its purpose today of stretching out my sore muscles but I can never concentrate at home like I can in a class. I need to start going to classes more often. Nothing beats the calm relaxing feeling of ending a really amazing yoga class. Besides doing yoga I spent the afternoon working on my never ending studying. I got a little hungry so I snacked on a few of these.

These are called energy chunks and they are made with dates and seeds and this kind has a orange flavor. They are raw and give you good energy. 




For dinner I had to cook up some organic free range chicken breast I got so I cut them into strips and dipped them into egg and bread crumbs. Then I baked them until they turned crispy. While these were cooking I snacked on these beauties. One of my favorite fruits. 



When the chicken was done I decided to just make a huge salad and add the chicken to it. 


The salad had:
lettuce
baby greens
chicken
blue cheese (cheese is my weakness)
walnuts
chickpeas

I have been getting colds a lot lately and besides playing around with my diet lately and seeing if there are any triggers I have really been trying to get the maximum nutrients I can into my diet. This way I don't have to take vitamins and the nutrition can come from foods. The more super foods the better!
Well I am off to go take a hot shower and do some more studying. See you all in the morning.
